For Vengeance, For Justice, For Love.
Alex Corvis (Eric Mabius) is wrongly accused of his girlfriend's death and sentenced to the electric chair. Which, apart from not killing him completely as one might expect, burns the mask into his face. Saving him hours of make-up.

I didn't like the film much, but it was better than The Crow: City of Angels. For one thing, it had a better villain, though it would have been nice if one didn't cotton on to which character that was so soon. On the other hand, it had Kirsten Dunst, who couldn't act her way out of a paper bag, at least not in this film. She really was distractingly bad. Minus one star just for her ...

I was lucky enough to see the film on the big screen. It played for a week in Cape Town. I think it basically went straight to video in the US.

***

Mabius plays the supporting role of Sean in 1997's excellent Lawn Dogs, with Sam Rockwell. Well worth catching, in case you think The Crow III is all he's capable off. He was also in a third season episode of the series Millennium.
