Detective Ironside was played by Raymond Burr. I have only seen Bruce's brief scene. He gets to show his stuff against 2 students, a man and a relentlessly graceless and stiff woman, and is interviewed by Ironside's female sidekick afterwards. Quite a nice appearance, as short as it is.
This is from a review of the DVD:
Ironside's MO is that, confined to a wheelchair, he must conduct his cases by bullying his young team of sidekicks (including Don Galloway, who went onto star in The Big Chill as JoBeth Williams' uptight husband). These sidekicks are so stupid that the audience benefits from having the most obvious things explained to them. This 1967 episode is complex and unintelligible but Bruce Lee appears in a three-minute scene. However, the best bit is the "joke" that wraps it up. It is truly one of the least funny codas in television history and it is reinforced by many long "aren't we having a laugh?" looks.
